In 1969 Deep Purple premiered Jon Lord’s groundbreaking “Concerto For Group And Orchestra” at the Royal Albert Hall. Thirty years later, in September 1999, Deep Purple and the London Symphony Orchestra returned to the same venue for the concerto’s second performance.
