When a businessman is assassinated, the assassin Mohan Joshi is arrested, but manages to escape days later. Joshi meets Ajay Bakshi and Ria Bannerjee, two rival news-reporters and tells them the truth. When Ajay and Ria learn the truth, they come together to help this common man and solicit the help of a softhearted underworld Don, Pappu Junior.
