20 years ago, the world’s largest cocoa producers signed an agreement to abolish child slavery – since then the problem has only gotten worse. American labor rights lawyer Terry Collingsworth stepped up over a decade ago to hold Nestle and Cargill legally accountable for their role in promoting child slavery on the cocoa plantations of Cote D’Ivoire.
