Road to Ruin
Road to Ruin is a raw and real documentary following four modern day explorers as they tackle one of Australia's last frontiers the 2. 000kms or 1, 100 miles of the never, never of the Canning Stock Route. This trail transverse some four deserts with no services along its entire length. The film sets out to travel in the footsteps of the explorer Alfred Canning who made the Canning Stock Route in 1910, though desert, heat and dust turns the trip into a adventure of survival as Land Rover and crew battle against the elements to keep their vehicle moving forward and to survive to tell the tale.
Road to Ruin
We follow the Road to Ruin team as they tackle the Canning Stock Route. This 4WD track is one of Australia's last frontiers and the world's longest stock route, stretching 1850kms. It has no service stations or towns along the route. The environment and track conditions are extremely harsh. There are endless corrugations, sharp spinifex, dust, and scorching heat exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.
