HBO presents Murder on Middle Beach, a four-part docuseries delving into the complicated past of Barbara Hamburg, who was murdered at her Connecticut home in March 2010, and whose case remains unsolved. Her son Madison Hamburg directs, conducting personal interviews with family members and friends who knew Barbara best – and sharing access to investigators who illuminate the activities leading up to her death. As the series explores the shadowy history of Madison's picture-perfect family and hometown, unsettling suspicions about Barbara's innermost circle bubble to the surface. And while Madison seeks answers for his mother's brutal murder in an effort to move forward, the fallout of his investigation remains to be seen.
