Roulette
A wheelchair-bound landscaper with a mysterious illness that no doctor can diagnose. A bitter alcoholic desk jockey who blames the world for an unhappiness he cannot define. An evangelical Christian who finds herself on a dark road toward sexual liberation. A loaded gun and a deadly game of chance that has united three strangers with nothing left to lose. This is ROULETTE: the eight-time award-winning psychological thriller from acclaimed Writer/Director Erik Kristopher Myers. Three powerful stories, told in fragments, rhythmically and structurally interwoven with the game of Russian Roulette that has brought Dean (Mike Baldwin), Kessler (Will Haza, Best Actor, 2011 World Music & Independent Film Festival), and Sunny (Ali Lukowski, Best Actress, 2012 Hot Media International Film Festival) together. Who are these people, really? What faces are they hiding behind masks, not only from the world around them, but from us, the viewer? How did they come to be here for this final shock treatment that ends with a literal 'Bang'...? Smash or Trash Indie Film Making calls ROULETTE "incredible...unforgettable...an excellent, well-crafted film"; The Examiner dubs it "a tremendous success"; and CaptainHowdy.com declares it a "masterpiece" that "wears the crown in terms of real-world, psychological horror." Witness the film that has critics and audiences in awe of an ending so shocking and controversial that few films can compare. Come play ROULETTE.
