I oppfølgeren til den nesten like ”The pervert’s guide to cinema” fra 2006 gjenforenes den slovenske filosofen Slavoj Zizek med filmskaperen Sophie Fiennes. I filmen undersøker han de kollektive fantasiene som former vår tro og vår oppførsel. Han analyserer blant annet ulike stadier av filmer som ”Taxi Driver”, ”Full Metal Jacket”, ”The Dark Knight” og ”Titanic”.

Balkan Spirit
Filmmaker Hermann Vaske explores the creative Balkan world in the hopes of understanding the meaning of "Balkan spirit", by interviewing philosopher Slavoj Žižek and various artists.
