In the Parc du Haut-Fourneau d'Uckange, the body of Gilles Thouvenin, the former director of the site, is discovered. Clément Morel, captain of the criminal department of Metz local police, is assigned to the investigation with the support of Laure Thouvenin, the victim's daughter. This free-spirited and non-conformist woman reconnects with Clément whom she knew as a child.
